Donate To Whom?
Donation(DAAN) Offerings (Daksina) both have given proper and due importance in the Holy scriptures of all faith. It not only purifies the inner self of the Giver but also make the receiver stand to survive. Still basically both have defferent sanctity. If we find some one hungry and we provide him food. It is Daan. It saves the life. Medical aid to the ailling patient old and week is Daan in true sense. Such Daan saves not one life but sometimes one generation even . Indeed Shri Ram Krishan Seva Sansthan is making all out sincere efforts to provide free medical aid, treatment to all without any discrimination through Shri Ram Krishasn Dharmarth Aushdhyla Vasundhara.with the donation and precious co oeration coming from all around. Food to the hungry, clothes to the needy shivering in the chilly winter, medecines to the patients. is realy a DAAN Donation in true sense.
Offerings is given not to the needy but to those who perform certain relegious rituals for our wellbeing. A panditji does yajna pooja etc. we offer him food, clothes and Dakshina also. Guru enlightens us and we offer him Guru Dakshina. It is a part of the complete pooja. It also bears good sense to increase our good deeds for the time to come. This is SANCHIT KARMA, if I am not wrong on this point. Our Vedas and Puranas are specifically clear this concept with advice that Daan Dakshina be given but only to those who really desereve it . Means Patrta Must be assessed more than often.
Such deeds selflesly done and offered make us all a human being. As Inspiringly advised In our holy code of conduct too:,
” Ye sham nh vidhya tapo nh daanam gyanam nh sheelam guno nh dharma
Te mriya loke bhuvi bhar bhuta manushya rupain mriga sh charnti”
